Hi! I’m Zhaoxin (pronounced “Joe-sing”), but Jenny works perfectly. I’m a dual master’s candidate at Georgia Tech studying City & Regional Planning and Geographic Information Science & Technology, graduating real soon this December 2026!
 

I have a habit of wandering into projects that make people ask, “Wait, what does urban planning have to do with that?” which is usually exactly why I’m interested. My work lives somewhere between GIS, urban analytics, digital twins, engineering, and aerospace, from solving problems for Georgia communities to thinking about how we might plan infrastructure on the Moon.
 

I love turning complicated spatial problems into something people can actually see, understand, and use. I’m happiest on interdisciplinary teams where I can speak a little “planner,” a little “GIS,” and enough “engineer” to connect the dots.
 

Apparently I took “think outside the box” a little too literally and ended up planning beyond Earth.
